Few words from the principal
„When a child laughs, the whole world laughs”
I would like to welcome everyone to the website of the Wojszycka Akademia Talentów.
Safety and car are our priority since 2013, we have been truing our utmost to suit the expectations of both children and their parents. This was our goal when we started with the preschool, then a small nursery group. The great trust of our parents and their recommendatoins allowed us to develop further. In 2019, a second facility was opened at Smardzowska Street, with three pre-school classes and a nursery department. Three years later, in 2022, we established further offering 160 preschool spots and 50 spots in the nursery.
Janusz Korczak’s quote “When a child laughs, the whole world laughs” has guided me from the very beginning of the Wojszycka Akademia Talentów. I really wanted to create a place where everyone, both big and small, would feel relaxed and welcome. Our ultimate goal is to teach children to respect people, things, the world around them and to teach them to cooperate. Cooperation between our institution and parents is also essential for friutful educational and didactic processes.
We make every effort to make the time spent with us attractive for children. There are many interesting events during the school year. We teach children empathy through various types of charity campaigns for people and animals. We go on trips because that’s what the kids remember the most.
We make sure that our pupils spend their time actively, outdoors. We have a beautiful playground at our disposal and we try to go outside every day. For children at this age, one of the basic needs is movement – we try to fully satisfy it.
I am very proud of the fact that for many years our graduates have been going to school confident, aware of their value and open to new challenges. When I meet them on the street, they always say hello, talk, and have very good memories of our preschool. At every end-of-the-year aert for our „little graduates” heading off to school, ready for school, the positive emotions and gratitute assure us, WAT, that we have done the job right and our hard work has meaning and purpose. This keeps me going, to try to meet the expectations of children and their parents.
